The City of Hawkinsville is governed by a five member
City Commission. City
Commissioners are elected at-large. The Commission
Chairman is appointed each year by the other Commissioners.
Commission meetings are held the first Monday of each month.
The City also employs a full-time administrative staff to carry out the day to day
operations of the local government. The Hawkinsville
City Manager is the chief administrative officer overseeing
these functions.
